An Oceanfront Resort and Conference Center

In February 2010, Scout Real Estate Capital acquired the Sea Crest Beach Hotel on Cape Cod in partnership with ING Clarion Partners. In November 2010, the partnership closed on a loan with Sovereign Bank on the property.

Scout has completed Phase 1 of a $14 million renovation project, with Phase 2 scheduled to be completed by Memorial Day weekend 2011. All of the property's 265 guest rooms will be touched by the renovation and all common areas will be upgraded. New food offerings will include Red's restaurant and bar, and a take-out window for those guests lounging by the pool or on the beach.

The Sea Crest Beach Hotel boasts a prime location on Old Silver Beach, with guests having private beach access. The property enjoys several additional amenities including an indoor pool, fitness center, outdoor pool with Jacuzzi, and oceanfront dining. In addition, the hotel has over 30,000 square feet of meeting and conference facilities and is the ideal place to host beachfront weddings and events.
